Ducks extend Beleskey
Forward Matt Beleskey has signed a two-year contract extension with the Anaheim Ducks on Friday worth $737,500 per-year.
The Windsor, Ontario native was headed into his last year on contract, and second (full) season with the Ducks.
Beleskey, 22, scored 11 goals and 7 assists with a -10 rating in 60 games last year. He also played 15 games in the AHL split between San Antonio and Toronto, where he posted 2 goals and 5 assists.
He’s shown great promise for the Ducks’ organization after being drafted by the Ducks in 2006 (112th overall), and posted up big numbers (221 points in 257 games) in the OHL.
